Our Story

Ellie Depledge-Barr: Lead Swimming Instructor

Meet Ellie Depledge-Barr, our Lead Swimming Instructor! Ellie's swimming journey began at age 12, and she quickly fell in love with the water. While she used to be a competitive swimmer, a twist of fate led her to volunteer on poolside at 15. That's where she discovered her true calling - teaching others to swim. By 16, she had her Level 1 ASA Swimming qualification, and by 18, she had her Level 2. Now at 25, Ellie boasts 9 years of experience, having worked with various clubs, school, and companies. From toddlers to adults, she's taught them all.

Ellie's passion for teaching shines through, as she's learned from some of the best swimming teachers and coaches in the UK, always striving to be the best teacher that she can be.

Jordan Dibble: Lead Lifeguard

Meet Jordan, our awesome Lead Lifeguard! With over 6 years of lifeguarding experience and STA qualification, he's got you covered! Jordan is all about creating a safe and fun environment for everyone to learn how to swim.

Plus, with his Level 1 Swimming Teaching qualification and his 1-years experience as a teaching assistant in a school, he's a pro at helping out our Swimming Instructors and can chat with parents, guardians, or carers if they need any guidance when the teacher is busy!

Jordan Dibble

Owner, Lifeguard &
Swimming Instructor

Jordan will be present for all of the lessons, working closely with Ellie, and ensuring that all lessons are conducted safely.

He will also be on hand to answer any queries that parents/guardians/carers may have and respond to emails in a speedy manner.

Jordan's Qualifications

STA Qualified Lifeguard.
Level 1 ASA Teaching Assistant.
DBS Checked.
Safeguard Qualified.
BSc Sport & Physical Education.
A Graduate Diploma in Law.

Ellie's Qualifications

Level 1 ASA Teacher Instructor.
Level 2 ASA Teaching Instructor.

Safeguard Qualified & Officer.
Disability Awareness Officer.
Covid-19 Officer.
BSc Sport & Exercise Science.
MSc Sport Psychology.
Adult Mental Health First Aid Trained.

Ellie will be managing and teaching the lessons, ensuring that all lessons are a fun learning experience.

She will also provide feedback on the individuals' progress and will keep everyone updated on all information via social media.
