 Our Story

On 07/11/2022, Ellie & Jordan established Coral Reef Swim School.

Combined, they have 18 years of experience within the swimming industry, working in public and private leisure centres, swim schools, and swimming clubs with some of the top UK coaches. From this, they gained an understanding of what is truly needed to offer safe and fun lessons focused around education and progression.

Ellie & Jordan provide their services to children and adults of all abilities with the aim of ensuring that when their swimmer's leave their lessons, they can be sure that their swimmer's are safe when in and around the water.

Ellie & Jordan also have the ambition of overcoming barriers to participation in swimming for those with additional learning needs and for those of an ethnic minority background.

Everyone deserves an equal opportunity to learn and they are working hard to make this happen.

 Our Role

Hiya, I’m Danny! I have loved being in the water ever since I was a baby, and that is still the case now!

I can’t wait to continue to inspire the next generation to love the water as much as I do, and now in my new role as assistanct manager, I cannot wait to support the teachers to do the same!

Hi, I’m Georgia! I have always loved swimming since starting lessons at a young age and progressing to competitive swimming a club; I still train with Cardiff University to this day.

My love for the water was what inspired me to begin teaching others how to swim. Therefore, I attained my Level 1 and Level 2 Swim Teaching and have been working for various independent swim schools since. The majority of my experience is teaching young children whom are both weak and non-swimmers.

I have also qualified as a Lifeguard making me more aware of the safety in a pool environment and how to administer effective first aid.

Hi, I'm Dom! I've always had a passion for swimming and have been around pools for as long as I can remember.

Teaching others how to swim has been something I’ve truly enjoyed from an early age, and it's incredibly rewarding to help individuals build their confidence and skills in the water. Whether working with beginners or more advanced swimmers, I strive to make every lesson engaging, safe, and fun!

I’ve been working as a lifeguard for the past 4 years and have been teaching swimming for 3. It’s been a really rewarding journey so far, and I’m thoroughly enjoying every moment of it. I love seeing the progress my swimmers make and the confidence they gain in the water. I’m excited to keep growing as an instructor and continue learning as much as I can along the way.
